Piping pot

Piping pot

Piping pot

(OP)
Hi

I would like to have some information about "Piping Pot for Level Gauge". it is kind of pressure vessel 24" in diamiter and 2600 mm in hight with sight glass and flanges.
in the web I can not find usefull information. I guess there are different names for this equipment.

may somebody explain what is the service of such equipment?
Is there other name for such equipment?
what kind of manufacturer can supply it?

thanks

RE: Piping pot

Fred

I suggest posting this either (but not both) on forum794: Boiler and Pressure Vessel engineering or forum404: Mechanical engineering other topics.

The first because you mentioned that it was a "type of pressure vessel" -- though you didn't mention what the pressure was.  The second as more of a general mechanical engineering one which gets a lot of replies.

While this forum supposedly boasts 2600 members, very few are active and a lot of questions get asked and not answered.

RE: Piping pot

I will wait for the question to be ask in one of the other threads that VPL has recommended, and asked with a little more information given, especially if steam is involved.
