GRAY DIMENSIONS IN DRAWING

GRAY DIMENSIONS IN DRAWING

GRAY DIMENSIONS IN DRAWING

(OP)
Could someone say me why some dimensions in drawing are gray and when I change some properties on view (show axis or show centerlines,....) these dimensions turn red?

thanks for any help

RE: GRAY DIMENSIONS IN DRAWING

If your options are on default dimension colors gray means non assosiative dimensions. Dimension does not have 3D element reference.

On what level you are running CATIA? In V5R7 dimensions were gray when dimensioning drawing elements generated from mirrored 3D elements.

Thank for reply.
I run on V5R9

and i resolve this problem....
when i turn off icon
"display the various types of dimensions in different and customizable colors" all is ok.

But only some radius and diameter dimensions are red.... and I create dimensions only on 3D geometry and not automatically
