pre-selection for assy constraints....no axis or faces will preselect?

pre-selection for assy constraints....no axis or faces will preselect?

(OP)
Just finished a V5 foundations class, and am reviewing the assembly constraint portions of it at home. I'm using a low end PC that does not have approved hardware just for training purposes. In regular part design, the faces and axis seem to pre-display just fine. When attempting to constrain components in an assembly, the axis of a cylindrical object will NOT pre-display, neither will any face. The face will highlight after I select it by just blindly clicking on it, hoping for the best, but no pre-display can be seen. It certainly worked in class.

This has been making it impossible to tell exactly what I am selecting: axis, face etc. Is there a setting in the options pull down i need to turn on? Or,is it a graphic card issue?  Thanks for any tips.

RE: pre-selection for assy constraints....no axis or faces will preselect?

Sounds like a graphic card issues mate
