Attaching the shear wall etension to an existing roof diagram

Attaching the shear wall etension to an existing roof diagram

(OP)
I designed this detail to provide shear wall extends to the existing roof diaphragm. (see attached). Is there a "liquid nail" or similar glue with approved shear values to be used as a replacement to the fastening from above the roof sheathing to prevent from disturbing existing roof cover? Is there a better way of continuous connection between the shear wall and the roof diaphragm?
Thanks!

I prefer mechanical connections for this application even if a glue could be shown to do the job.

I assume reasonable thickness sub-flooring or roof diaphragm with rigid insul. above; screw up into diaphragm through new cold formed stl. blocking members with short screws.  Use a 6" Zee, and offset top flange wrt wall below, so screwing up through top flg. is easier to get at.  Otherwise, end detailing of blocking Zee's is a you show for your 6" C blocking.

Unless it is a tested and approved connection, I do not believe that glue can be considered in the shearwall shear values.  Mechanical only.

Using Zee for blocking is a great tip. Thank you for that. I have also thought about using short screws from the attic side but it would be almost same as using glue, since screw heads are on the wrong side.
I am going to try that hoping the inspector will take it easy.
Thank you again!

I think screws as suggested by dhengr are your only option if connecting from the bottom.  But I this only works if there is insulation above the diaphragm so you can penetrate the plywood.
