I need a reference that has design procedures for post-tensioned bridge pier caps, and possibly an example.  If you know of a good one, please post.  thanks!

RE: Need Reference for P-T bridge pier caps

Have you checked out publications at the pti website?  They also have an abstract search for papers available there too.

I have checked out post-tensioning.org, and all of their stuff is on  beams or precast segmental construction- no pier caps.

RE: Need Reference for P-T bridge pier caps

Were you successful in finding a post-tensioned bridge pier cap example?  I am also interested in such an example?

RE: Need Reference for P-T bridge pier caps

I never found an example, and we ended up designing it in house.  It is still being scrutinized by different engineers- possibly the most checked design ever!

You may want to consider consultation with your local DSI (DWIDAG Systems International) representative.  They are typically helpful and obviously interested in seeing their product in service.  Anything that you may find regarding this subject would be of interest.
