Does anyone know of an issue with Solid Edge freezing, becoming un-responsive when physcally moving (dragging) a part in Assembly?  Im using an Academic version of V20.  Don't know if its related or not, I recently upgraded my OS from Vista to 7, this wasn't an issue b4 upgrading.

RE: Solid Edge program freezes (un-responsive)

I wouldn't use V20 with Windows 7.
Maybe ST2 or possibly ST1 but I'm sure that's your problem

Where would we be without sat-nav?

Thanks 4 the 2c beachcomber, it was my gut feeling as well.  Well I'm stuck with both.

What version of W7 do you have?
In the Pro version there is an XP compatibilty mode that may be of some use.
I don't know how it works though.
