hello ,

how i can model a beam with fracture at specific location and depth

by using femap with nx nastran

RE: model fracture

i don't think FeMap/NX Nastran has a crack tip element like other codes.  depending on what you're trying to get from the model, you can model the crack as coincident nodes on adjacent elements (so the model will open up when tension is applied).  if you want more than the overall effect of the crack, you can probably get post-processors that'll use the nastran output to calculate the J-integral around the crack-tip.

femap can not model with fracture at specific location????

are you sure from that ?

RE: model fracture

no, i said "i think" FeMap doesn't have a dedicated crack tip element (for modeling the crack tip singularity).  but there are other ways for determining the stress intensity if that's what you're trying to do (eg J-integral); more codes do it this way these days rather than have a specialised crack tip element).
