CAESAR II

CAESAR II

CAESAR II

(OP)
Please let me know about the allowable loads of piping supports in seismic and wind load cases in CAESARII. In other words, I would like to know if that allowable loads are multpiles of allowable support loads in the normal operating load case or not.

RE: CAESAR II

strsanalyst,
Caesar II does not provide you with allowable loads for supports nor does it check the calculated loads are acceptable. A structural engineer needs to determine what the allowable loads are on an existing structure or design a new structure to accommodate the loads calculated provinig they are no ridiculously high.

I think you need to fully understand what Caesar II actually does!!!
