airtight Stainless COTS box?

airtight Stainless COTS box?

airtight Stainless COTS box?

(OP)
Hi all,

Totally random question here.

I'm looking for a commercial, off the shelf stainless steel airtight container for our research project. something that can handle maybe 5-10psi (this is probably an over estimate) for a flow test that we're doing. we'll drill the holes ourselves, but we need this kind of on the cheap.

any suggestions?

Nick

RE: airtight Stainless COTS box?

Same source, but threaded pipe fittings to make up your container?

What size box?

thanks all,

I ended up going with a bud enclosure NEMA box.

i'm hoping this'll seal enough for my needs. it's going to be less than 1-2 psi inside so I'm not really too worried.

RE: airtight Stainless COTS box?

You do realize that box isn't stainless steel like you asked about in your original post?

yeah, I was told that I no longer needed stainless, all the gases used are in such small values corrosion is not an issue - sorry about not updating this.
