Hole/point on exterior cylindrical surface

(OP)
Is it not possible to place a hole/point on the face of an exterior cylindrical surface at the intersection of two planes?  See attached.

I'm attempting to put a hole/point on surface 1 where datum 1 and 2 intersect it.  I understand there are two possible locations that would be defined.  I'll take either one at this stage of the game.

RE: Hole/point on exterior cylindrical surface

Create two section curves (Datum Plane to Cylinder's face) and then select the intersection of the two curves as the point location for the hole.
