Folding lines for flat patterns disappeared in drawing
Folding lines for flat patterns disappeared in drawing
(OP)
Hi,
I have made a detailed drawing and flatterened pannels of a product I have made. When I first did it, it had the fold lines on but now they have disappeared on the whole drawing. The angles for bending are still there and when I make a new drawing and flatten they appear on that drawing but stil not on the main one. So how do I change the drawing I have already made to show the bend lines again. Thanks for your time.
Rob

RE: Folding lines for flat patterns disappeared in drawing
It Should be pretty easy.
With the Drawing Open.
Go to the feature tree on the side of the screen:
Find the correct sheet and drawing view.
Expand the Part Features
There should be a 'Flat-Pattern' Feature. Expand It.
Then there should be 'Bend-Lines'
Right Click and select Hide/Show
See attached image.

Sometimes I've noticed SW randomly switching the Views option to Hide all types
RE: Folding lines for flat patterns disappeared in drawing
What I usually do is that I select the bend line even though it is not visible. Once selected, I convert the entity and project the line. Then I change the line to a construction line.
Doesn't exactly solve the problem but its a way to get around it.

At least I think that is where it is at nowadays.
