Import geometry from ANSYS Workbench to ANSYS Classic

Import geometry from ANSYS Workbench to ANSYS Classic

(OP)
Hi all,
I have created my model in ANSYS Workbench. I have meshed it also. Now I want to import it to ANSYS Classic for modal analysis. How can I do it?

RE: Import geometry from ANSYS Workbench to ANSYS Classic

Why not just complete the analysis in Workbench, since it's so much easier to perform the modal analysis in it?

If you want to take the FE model (only) into the classic environment, you can either write out a DB file after solve (check the Details options in the Analysis Settings branch), or write out an input file after applying basic loads from the Tools menu.
