Convert a Constraint to a Connection in Mechanism?
Convert a Constraint to a Connection in Mechanism?
(OP)
Is there a way to convert an exisiting constraint in an assembly (for example, composed of "Insert" and "Mate") into a Pin connection type for use in Mechanism analysis -- or do I have to resinsert the component and define Pin at that time? I am using Pro-E 5.
Any input would appreciated.

You need to uncheck the box marked allow assumptions, then you can convert the constraints to mechanism. See attached image for details).
