Metric to American conversion

Metric to American conversion

(OP)
I have a B.O.M. for a pump listed as 24m WG. What is the conversion to head foot? Is it as simple as meters to foot conversion?

Thanks,

Hossfly

RE: Metric to American conversion

Yes. Not sure what WG means. WC would be Water Column. But the conversion is just from meter to food.

RE: Metric to American conversion

WG could mean WATER GAUGE. Do you have more info describing your pump? Is it from a European manufacturer?

Kind Regards,
hahor

RE: Metric to American conversion

metres to feet is to multiply metres by 3.28 - that will give you feet !

RE: Metric to American conversion

24 mWG (that is the same as mH2O or mWC) equals 78.74 ftH2O

Ione,
How is your answer different from MatNCSU03's response of two weeks ago?  It looks like you read the question and assumed that the intervening posts were junk and jumped to the end to put in the "real" answer without reading them.  That seems somewhat counter productive to me.

David,

You are right. I have missed MatNCSU03's post: definitely my fault.
