WL BL. meaning on dwgs.

WL BL. meaning on dwgs.

WL BL. meaning on dwgs.

(OP)
What is the meaning of WL.BL.TI in engineering drawing?

RE: WL BL. meaning on dwgs.

WL = waterline = vertical coordinate
BL = body/buttock line = left/right coordinate (centerline = BL0)
TI = ?? = probably the axial coordinate

RE: WL BL. meaning on dwgs.

EnginIT,

Is the engineering drawing for a titanium composite matrix? How is the term WL.BL.TI used? Is it in the footnotes or does it refer to a specific part in the assembly?

Thanks.

RE: WL BL. meaning on dwgs.

I've always seen it as SWComposites posted, although for the axial I've come across FS (Fuselage station) or just STA (station) but haven't seen TI that I can remember.
