Diameter Dimension Text Flips

(OP)
Diameter dimension in NX6: when using 'Manual Placement - Arrows In', I can figure out how to be able to reduce the dimension leader line without having the leader text flipping on the other side of the leader end - see picture attached...

Help welcome.

RE: Diameter Dimension Text Flips

Yes, it does that . . .
Put your dimension where you want it then flip the leader to the other side. It should stay on the other side until the dimension is moved.
I would like to hear what others say about this - because dimenions, and notes, like what you are doing can be a bit of a hassle to work with.

RE: Diameter Dimension Text Flips

I can't remember exactly, but either pressing the ALT or CTRL key when dragging the dimension will prevent the leader from switching sides.

RE: Diameter Dimension Text Flips

oh yea, depressing the CTRL key while movng the dimension does keep it from flipping - thanks
