I am in the process of advising a foundation contractor on the feasibility of investing in a screw piling equipment. The information presented to date leaves me a little bit nervous. Does any know of any published test results for the load capacities for steel screw piles in both clay and sand soils. Thanks

The "screw pile" we are using drives an eight foot steel caisson which might be too big for your project.
