Apply Displacement then Coupling Constraint

Apply Displacement then Coupling Constraint

Apply Displacement then Coupling Constraint

(OP)
Hello all,

I have two components in contact,

STEP 1: I would like to apply a displacment to a suface on component 1 to allow this to contact with component 2.

STEP 2: I am then trying to slide one component other the other by applying a rotation to component 1.  I tried created a coupling but found that I could not apply this coupling to the 2nd step alone.

I have uploaded a picture at http://my.engineering.com/pg/file/OptiEng called "Model_Image".

Any advice/tips on how I can move forward with this? Thanks.

RE: Apply Displacement then Coupling Constraint

Is the coupling between the protrusion and RP-1?  If so why not just have the coupling in STEP 1 and 2?  I hope this helps.
