WRIM Wind Generator

(OP)
We was rewound a WRIM motor and this machine will be work like a wind generator, the question is the marks in the rotor´s lead are missed and we don´t know how connect correct the rotor´s leads in the slip rings.

How to find the correct order?

Thanks and regards

RE: WRIM Wind Generator

Dear All

We found how to test the WRIM motor and how label it

1.Find the phase secuence of power supply and label the power wires. (R-S-T or R-T-S)
2.Short the rotor and feed the stator, watch the rotation direction, note the order of connection of the power wires.
3.Connect the stator in wye and fed with low voltage the rotor, note the rotation direction.
4.   Mark the rotor leads to correspond to the same direction of rotation as the stator leads.

I hope this info could help in future

Regards

Carlos
