Multisection problem (Surface Design)

Multisection problem (Surface Design)

Multisection problem (Surface Design)

(OP)
Hi all,
iam trying to make a surface between 2 sketches as the uploaded pic but it gives me a massage about the line, how to solve it or is there another problem with my sketch ?

By the way when i click on my upper sketch a part from the sketck highlight because of i have poins there who destroy it, how can i make them melting in the sketch?

RE: Multisection problem (Surface Design)

I really don't know what you have done to get this result, have you out putted geometry from the sketch? If so, don't do that. The points in the sketch should be turned to construction element so it is not visible outside the sketch.

Looking at you picture you have 5 sections chosen in the function window, based on sub elements of the skethes, you should only have two section, the two sketches no sub elements. The line I don't think is necessary due to only two sections but you can keep it to have matching closing points for the section. When you have a surface you can check the coupling tab i the function window and tweek the options for best result.

I can recommend you to check the documentation for basic information about the sketcher and generative shape desing modules
