Structural Shapes

(OP)
I am beginning to review some existing steel and am having trouble finding properties on some of them. I cannot find 14B17.2, 7I15.3??
Does anyone nkow where I can find info on these mebemer sizes? The drawings are dated in the mid 1960's if that helps,
Thanks in advance,

RE: Structural Shapes

Have you looked in AISC design guide 15?

RE: Structural Shapes

The second is now called a S7 x 15.3 and is commonly called a standard shape. It's still in any AISC Manual.
I can't figure out the first one.

RE: Structural Shapes

According to the AISC database under ASD6, the first one may have been called B14x4.

w=17.2
A=5.05
d=14.00
tw=0.21
