NX6 Shipped Templates Differences?

NX6 Shipped Templates Differences?

NX6 Shipped Templates Differences?

(OP)
Appart from the Datum Csys, is there any difference between the Model and the Assembly shipped templates in NX6?
Same question for the other ones: I'm just curious what makes a Mech. Routing template different than a Model one?

RE: NX6 Shipped Templates Differences?

It's not just the template itself, but also how it's called using the File -> New dialog since this controls certain initial behavior, such as opening an Assembly template will trigger an automatic request to select a component to insert into the assembly, or opening a Drawing template without any predefined views will automatically trigger a request to place a base view on the Drawing.

I've customized my templates so as to have different sets of predefined Part Attributes assigned for Models, Assemblies and Drawings.
