Beam 44 Real Constant

Beam 44 Real Constant

Beam 44 Real Constant

(OP)
Dear all

I'd like to ask your help to identify an input parameter for beam44.
I'm trying to do an Ansys tutorial (see attachments).
In the step-13 (sheet 6 of the pdf) I have to put 3 parameter:
A=76.5 (would be cross sectional area -> AREA1 & AREA2 of   Ansys)
I=490.87 (would be moment of inertia -> IZ1 & IY1 & IZ2 & IY2 of Ansys)
J=981.75 what is this parameter????????
I'm not able to identify the corrispondence between J (tutorial data) and Ansys real constant input parameter.
Any advise is appreciate.

Thanks
Merka

I found it....
J is the polar moment of inertia. In this case, J=IZ+IY  for both node i and j of beam44.
I suppose that the corrisponding Ansys parameter are IX1 and IX2.
