How to Change Step Value Globally

How to Change Step Value Globally

How to Change Step Value Globally

(OP)
When placing a line, point, etc. I like to use the up and down arrows to increment the distance values. In Catia, it is set to 1 inch which is too big for the work I do. I can change the step value, but it defaults back to 1 inch. Can I set it to 1/32 inch and make it stay 1/32 inch? See attached screenshot.

If you go to tools, options, sketcher, you can change the grid primary spacing, and graduations, to the size you need. I hope this helps. Rod.

I set my primary grid spacing to 1/16 inch and found the spinner is not affected by grid settings. It still defaults to 1 inch.

Mark,  there is no setting for the incremental values and it will stay active in the current session only.
