Sequential milling - how to generate the toolpath?
Sequential milling - how to generate the toolpath?
(OP)
Hi,
Can someone help me with the sequential milling toolpath? I'm a quite new user of NX. And I need to generate a sequential milling (swarf toolpath) on both of the walls of slots on my part. I will use 5-axes machine and 4-axes movement. I have never do that in NX. I'm uploading the geometry and drawing of the part.

Have you any formal training with NX? I highly recommend it if you want to learn it properly and in the shortest time.

Yes, I had the formal training in NX, but without the multi-axis. It's before me. I was a mastercam user previously and I have some experience with four or five axis and the swarf toolpath. But I cannot handle with interface I see in NX. I cannot get it. I need some example to may proceed farther. I just want someone to show me step-by-step, how to generate the toolpath. That's it. I do not want to solution for this part, because I know exactly how to machine the part.
RE: Sequential milling - how to generate the toolpath?
if you are new to nx must take training and a very advanced comndo
use the variable contour and the easiest and fastest sequential mill
worked in secotools muitosanos and machined straight helices asim.
any doubts ...
follows the file ... with machining.

Probably you are right. I need a training and very advance comndo. I will search and request for. Anyway, toolpath was made as easy as brilliant it is. Nice and simple. I was thinking about the variable contour, but I wasn't sure If I get the right output. You showed me it's right. Thank you so much.

if you need training by the skipe or doubt about variable
contour or multi axis be just speak.....

Generous offer. I will use it when struggling problems with multi-axis. Thanks one more time.
