solid model picture in a drawing file

solid model picture in a drawing file

(OP)
Hi
can anyone tell me how to include a picture of my part in a drawing file?  I find this to be a great help for those that can't think in 3d.
I usually print off a seperate sheet and attach it, i am trying to conserve paper these days, and a smaller picture included right on the drawing page would solve this problem.

Thanks

Gerry

Ahh perhaps the version i am using does not allow this, i see the shaded icon but cannot use it in a drawing.

Thanks, any other way around this?

RE: solid model picture in a drawing file

You could save the model as an image file and insert it on the drawing as an OLE object, but upgrading might be a better option.

RE: solid model picture in a drawing file

Hi,

Just use Ctrl + C to copy the picture and Ctrl + V to paste it in the drawing.

It's easier and works very well.

I hope it can helps.
