Hi,

I have two problems with Ansys WB12, when I try to Structural Analsys I import the file (from Pro/E in igs or t_x), bought me an error

"Unable to attach to geometry file" and subsequently

"Geometry interface not found"!!!

How can I fix??

Excuse me for not perfect English!!!!!!

thanks for the reply, but now how can I solve this problem? I must re-install ansys and pro/e for this geometry interface?

Thanks!!!!

RE: Error ansys 12.0

No try to import using iges, or step out, and import in workbench. or as i remember, you have to copy a file from ansys directory to pro/e directory some file name pro**.tk or some thing like that. this file is generated during installation if u select connection to proe in installation setup menu.
i have done it so it is real solution. (also try to find this in ansys help file) this procedure is there too.
Pro/e send file to ansys mechanical, and benefit is that you geometry is translated without, or minimum errors.
Hope it helps
