Considering Heat of hydration in massive concrete structures

Considering Heat of hydration in massive concrete structures

(OP)
Hi
I made a staged construction model for a massive concrete structure to consider the effects of shrinkage, creep and heat of hydration. But I do not know how to consider heat of hydration in sap2000. Is sap able to count for temperature rise due to heat of hydration? (I am using sap2000 version 14.1)
Thank you

RE: Considering Heat of hydration in massive concrete structures

Dear vsator,
I think that for this kind of problem you should use ABAQUS, take a look at http://www.simulia.com/products/abaqus_fea.html. Bye!

RE: Considering Heat of hydration in massive concrete structures

hi, I think ABAQUS is too expensive. I would like to midas Civil software or FEA software. this is pretty easy to use for you.

cheers~!
