Mirror part reference change

Mirror part reference change

Mirror part reference change

(OP)
Scenario is

Part A was mirrored in Assy AB & Part B was created,

then Part A was renamed to Part A1

now I need to reattach the part B to Part A1

But I have deleted the Assy AB(I know I am a Delete freak!!!!!!!)

I do not wanna remirror as I have plenty of mates in another assy where I am using PART A1 & Part B.

RE: Mirror part reference change

From SolidWorks go to file>open then browse for part B.  Select it, but don't open it.  The go to "References" in the lower right hand corner of the open dialog window.  The references window will pop up.  Within the window, double click on the old reference to Part A and browse for part A1.  There may remain a mention of Assy AB, I don't think that will cause issues.
