Swiss Piping Codes

Swiss Piping Codes

Swiss Piping Codes

(OP)
Is there a piping installation code for Switzerland?  For example, ASME B31.3 equivalent.  I am looking for pressure testing requirements for pipes containing steam at approx. 4.0 barg.  I am advised that a nominal service test at < 2 bar. is acceptable in Switzerland.

RE: Swiss Piping Codes

I'm not sure if it helps but Switzerland has a pressure vessel standard called SR 819.121. It corresponds as far as possible to the European Pressure Vessel Directive (PED).
