Macro to clear Display States

(OP)
We just upgraded to 2010 sp3. All individual parts are coming into the assembly with Display States. We don't use these and I would like to minimize them in the Feature Manager. Is there a macro that will clear these or do I have to open each part?
In 2009 they only showed for assemblies and I would go to the Display State properties, highlight and hit the spacebar. This would create <>.
Any help would be appreciated.
Sylvia
