NX5, Adding symbols into Tables

NX5, Adding symbols into Tables

NX5, Adding symbols into Tables

To avoid any sort of headache downstream, is there a way to insert a symbol (this case, the triangle pointing up with text inside) in a table?

I have searched around and have not had any luck finding anything.

Thank you.

RE: NX5, Adding symbols into Tables

I am not sure what symbol that is?  But yes you can put symbols into tables.  You can create user defined symbols as well and place them in table cells.

RE: NX5, Adding symbols into Tables

That is a tough one.
I think the only way to do it would be to seperatly put in a "revision triangle"
insert > symbol > identification symbol
and associate it to the cell
edit > annotation > origin > associative "on" > use botton left icon (offset character)

Jerry, thank you. That's what I am currently doing. I had hoped there was something that would import the symbol into the table.

Oh well, thank you.

there is a way to do just a triangle, but not with a number in it

Yea, I think it makes most sense to put the text inside of the symbol and align it with associative offsets.  Granted, I think the symbol inside of a table is not a good solution.  But at this time, it's what the company wants.
