Hello...Probably it sounds stupid...but what is the difference between hydrostatic pressure and uniform pressure.I know that  hydrostatic pressure...its a fluid pressure....but i want to do a bulge test...and i dont know what to use...hydrostatic pressure or uniform pressure
Thanks

RE: hydrostatic pressure

My disclaimer is that I have never used it but here is my understanding.  A uniform pressure is just that.  Hydrostatic pressure is more designed for a dam type loading where the pressure varies from the bottom of the dam to the top.  I hope this helps.
