Pneumatic Truck Chemical (PAC) Deliveries

(OP)
I am looking for feedback or reference on the capability (flow rate/static pressure) of pneumatic delivery trucks, in particular for Powdered Activated Carbon.  A colleague has questioned if these pneumatic delivery trucks can deliver PAC into a bulk tank where the fill line is submerged 2 feet below the maximum water level in the tank.  This seems a small amount of static pressure for large chemical trucks, but looking for further clarification.

RE: Pneumatic Truck Chemical (PAC) Deliveries

The pneumatic blowers on trucks generally operate at 5-10 psi. The 2 feet of wate head should not be a problem:

Many users sluice carbon with water instead of air.
