Mate type "Position"???

Mate type "Position"???

Mate type "Position"???

(OP)
I imported an assembly (linear slide) from a vendor and there is a mate to define the location of the carriage on the slide.  It's in the Mates folder for the carriage, and it is Position.  Not Distance1, or Coincident1, but just Position.

Any idea where I can find documentation on this mate type?

Any idea how to use it in a design table?

Thanks,

V

RE: Mate type "Position"???

Is it possible that the mate has just been renamed to Position?  Just like renaming CutExtrude1 in the FT to Hole Ø1.25

Regards,
BB

RE: Mate type "Position"???

BodyBagger is probably right.  Try editing the mate and seeing what mate type it is.

Doh!

Yes, it is just a Distance mate, renamed.

Thanks for the help.
