RE: CTRL + X,C,V

(OP)
if an item(s) is selected and i ctrl+c, it just cancels the selection.

RE: CTRL + X,C,V

i remember old school ACAD had Ctrl+C equal to today's "Esc"

RE: CTRL + X,C,V

Did you check your user preferences?

Go to Tools -> Option -> User Preference tab -> Windows Standard Behavior

check the boc for "Window standard accelerator keys"

RE: CTRL + X,C,V

(OP)
I don't have that block.  The only two blocks under Windows Standard Behavior are 1) double click editing and 2)shortcut menus in drawing area.

RE: CTRL + X,C,V

(OP)
all the other ctrl+ commands work but those.

RE: CTRL + X,C,V

Hm,

do you have this problem in every dwgs? Open a new one and try again. Did you install the Service Pack 1 for 2010? There are some corrections inside...
