Export CGM / PDF

Export CGM / PDF

Export CGM / PDF

6.0.5.3

Trying to export a CGM image or PDF file, from the modelling application, using wireframe with invisible edges. Whatever I do, I see all edges. Can this be done now ?

Use to work fine in NX3.

RE: Export CGM / PDF

Change your shading to static wireframe then go to Preferences -> Visualization -> Visual tab -> [Edge Display Settings section] and change the Hidden Edges option to invisible (see attached). This will give you a hidden line view the way NX3 did it. Change it back to visible after the export.

Cowski,

Thank you smile

Edge Display Settings was collapsed and I was making changes to the General Display Settings.

RE: Export CGM / PDF

I am having a similar issue.  On my drawing sheet I am importing a view of my model, when I updated the model, the image on the drawing sheet shows lines, similar to wireframe lines on the model.  The only way I have seen to get rid of them is to expand member view on the imported image, and manually select and remove the lines.  (They do not orginally show up on the model)
