Please I need some help

Please I need some help

Friends.

I have a problem with toolbar NX3., all commands are hide when re-start NX3.
This is a problem because any time I need to select any icon.
Thanks for your help

RE: Please I need some help

next time you reset your toolbars go to:

preferences > user interface > layout > save layout at exit - toggle "on"

I am on NX6, but I think NX3 had the same setting

I tried and it doesn´t work in NX3

RE: Please I need some help

When you start it defaults to the 'Gateway' application. Make sure you switch to 'Modeling' (or 'Drafting', whatever application you wish to use) and see if your toolbars come back. You can customize your toolbars in each application, what you see in modeling won't be what you see in gateway.

The customized toolbar hide when I turn off NX3 and re-start the program.
Must be another configuration for this problem, because the software works well whit other users.

RE: Please I need some help

For the ultimate 'reset' of your tool bars, while you are NOT logged into NX, go to...

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Unigraphics Solutions\NX

...and delete or rename the file 'user.mtx'.  When you next start NX 3.0 your toolbars should be back to their out-of-the-box state.

Comment:
My computer needed administrator rights in UGS folder to make the change in the toolbars before re-start NX3 to keeping changes.
