Function immeresed in Salt Water Specification

Function immeresed in Salt Water Specification

(OP)
I have a pyrotechnic device that will ultimately have to function under saltwater. As part of the environment test plan, I intend to function the device immersed in x depth of saltwater to demonstrate it's capability.  I am wondering if there is a specification that anyone has come across that lays out a test plan for functioning a device immersed in salt water.  I have already seen the Mil-spec-810 tests regarding fording and those aren't adequate.  I will simply function the device under salt water if I cannot find a specification but it would be more appealing to say we have demonstrated our device to function under salt water IAW spec ...........   Any thoughts?

RE: Function immeresed in Salt Water Specification

Mil-Std-810 includes an immersion test, method 512, in which the use of saturated salt water is included as a possible test fluid.
