Hello:

Does anyone know of a suitable alternative for 3/8-16 UNF bolt 2.5" long.  MS or NAS.

RE: Alternative for MS35308-368

uGlay,

A different bolt, 3/8-16 UNF by 2.5" long!  Can you replace the nut, and go to M10x1.5?

What is your requirement?  Are there any regulatory issues?

RE: Alternative for MS35308-368

uGlay...

The MS35308 is a 3xx CRES hex head cap-screw... NOT an aerosapce bolt; and is (at best) worthy of installation in support equipment. However the passivated finish makes it somewhat less useful, since passivated CRES is highly dissimilar most structural metals [Steels, aluminum, etc].

The prime question I have is WHY this screw and what is the application???
