What do you guys use to get a live wireless flow measurement?

I need to have a live monitoring of the mass/volume flow of some CNG so that the caretaker can monitor the flow from internet.

It would be preferable to send signals with gprs and messure flow and temperature with a vortex device.

Anyone know webpage with more information of this kind?

RE: wireless flow measurement. GPRS

Is the distance more - or less than 2000-foot?
Check with the measurement & control forum.  Most of the measurement transmitter folks want to sell you a wireless transmitter if within about 2000-foot.

Thank you for the response.

It´s more than 2000 foot.

More like 2000 miles, therfore I would like to use something like GPRS

RE: wireless flow measurement. GPRS

you can use a GPRS flowmeter. The type thats you need is a electromagnetic flowmeter.
I known and use a ABB flowmastes and krohne metering.
Both use a small electronics with batery and GPRS chip.
Best regards.
