Hydrostatic Pressure in Analysis

(OP)
I have a large open-top vessel modeled as midplane surface. Fixed at top edge.  How do I apply a hydrostatic pressure for the liquid?

I am trying to reproduce an Algor simulation in SolidWorks Simulation.

RE: Hydrostatic Pressure in Analysis

Apply a pressure with a gradient.  p = ρgh

RE: Hydrostatic Pressure in Analysis

You need a co-ordinate system defined at the top edge of the model with the y axis pointing down. Then apply pressure and select "nonuniform distribution". Then pick your co-ordinate system set the '+' value to zero and the 'y+' value to your fluid head per inch or per mm depending on your units.
