I have a design using ABAQUS 6.7 and need to find a new engineer continue the project. What do I need from the original designer? Do I just ask for the complete file and then it can be transferred to another designer?

Thanks,
George

RE: Modeling a cored FRP tanker

That really depends on the complexity of the problem, the current engineer's best practices and documentation and the new engineer's skill set.  The CAE file is the starting point but I would ask for the whole directory.  I hope this helps.
