How to add steam to reactor (FTS) ???

How to add steam to reactor (FTS) ???

How to add steam to reactor (FTS) ???

(OP)
I'm somewhere in fischer-tropsch synthesis in my research and I got stuck with putting steam into reactor cause simple evaporation didn't work - 100 ml of water in 2.5 l of oil at 170 degC didn't evaporate (very strange) so I need to use external method - I used simple steam generator but it worked at atmospheric pressure and it wasn't possible to put it into vessel...
Does anyone knows where may I buy quite cheap steam generator (working with increased pressure)???????? I'm really desperate and seems like I will have to design sth :(

RE: How to add steam to reactor (FTS) ???

Did you have agitation in your water and/or oil while trying to heat with hot oil?

If not you need to agitate to get adequate heat transfer.

This is agitated reactor - 600 -1000 rpm therefore heat transfer is almost ideal...

RE: How to add steam to reactor (FTS) ???

What is the operating pressure?
