NX6-Drafting
NX6-Drafting
(OP)
In NX6 drafting edit notes by double clicking the notes. What is the default "highlighted" area in the dialogue? It used to be the text input area so that I can start typing in letters instantly without using the mouse to point to the test area. Strangely I don't know what i did but now "stub length" became the default. Is there a set up I can change that back? THX

RE: NX6-Drafting
If I double-click a note on a Drawing, the Annotation Editor dialog will open and while it is true that something else might be 'highlighted', the non-destructive cursor (where the next character of text will be inserted if you were to immediately start to type) is in the Text Entry window, located after the last character of the text string representing the note that you just selected. This is the way it's always worked, at least that's how it works on my system and I tested everything from NX 1.0 to NX 7.5.

RE: NX6-Drafting
Another qustion on the first highlighted issue is on "stretch curve". In NX2 after picking by rectangular the default highlighted is the first line "XC" so that I can type in numbers instantly without click mouse. In NX6 the "highligh" function seems disappeared. Is there any way I can change set up somewher to get this nice feature back?

See this thread, it may have the answer: thread561-267695: Annotation Association?
