How to convert from Parasolid to ACIS

How to convert from Parasolid to ACIS

How to convert from Parasolid to ACIS

(OP)
Hello All, I need to convert a body from parasolid to ACIS. How can I do that?

The point is, I need to translate from NX to ACAD, but ACAD doesn't have IGES traslator.

Thanks
Frank.

RE: How to convert from Parasolid to ACIS

You need to save the file as a SAT file format.  Do you have SOlidworks in House?  If so you can export the file to Solidworks then save the file as an SAT out of Solidworks.

There used to be an add on file for autocad that allowed one to import an IGES file.  Do search and you may find some software you can pay and download for this to work.

Go back it Autocad release 12 Autodesk removed IGESin after this release

RE: How to convert from Parasolid to ACIS

download a trial version of cobalt or even argon (windows version not the mac version) from ashlar vellum that will do the trick.
