nx6 Sheet numbers over 9 sheets

nx6 Sheet numbers over 9 sheets

(OP)
Hi,  I'm new to the Forums.
My issue is NX6 Drafting...Sheet numbers to be specific.  I have 12 sheets to my drawing and NX has numbered them by name, eg. 1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 3, 4....etc.   Is there a way to have them numerical?  The downstream issue is exporting a .pdf and the sheets are mis-arranged.

Thanks,
Nihy

RE: nx6 Sheet numbers over 9 sheets

In this particular case, NX is performing a 'lexical' sort instead of an 'alphabetical' one, which means that each place (letter/number) in the text string is considered when sorting, not the overall string, to determine the order of placement.  What this means is that 10 is placed before 9.

Our recommendation is to edit all of the single digit names to be 01, 02, 03, etc. instead of 1, 2, 3, etc.  Yea, it's a bit tedious, but it's only 9 edits.  Now if you think you might eventually have more than 99 sheets, well...
