Rendering with transparent back ground

Rendering with transparent back ground

Rendering with transparent back ground

(OP)
Hello,
Is there any way during the render set up (Visual Studio) to put the back ground to transparent which will avoid the future selecting of the object while working with the generated image in Photo Shop, Illustrator, etc.
Thanks

RE: Rendering with transparent back ground

Not sure this is possible. First you'd need to save to a format that supports alpha channel (transparency), so jpeg is out of the question. I don't remember which other formats a render can be saved to.
