Edit all Equations Problem

Edit all Equations Problem

Edit all Equations Problem

(OP)
Anyone else having any problems with the "Edit All" option when working with equations?

I have an assembly that I have set up to modify by changing some values in the equation dialog box.  Since there are quite a few equations, I like to use the "Edit All" option so that I can change all the values at once.  I can change the values by editing each equation separately but not with the "Edit All" option.

Since I have upgraded to 2010 (all SPs up to this point) when I am done and click "OK" it starts popping up errors telling me that it can't change read only values.  Of course the reason that they are read only is because they are controlled by the formulas!

If that was the only problem then it would only be a nuisance but the real problem comes in when I want to add a formula for a dimension used earlier.  The only way to add this is in the "Edit All" mode where you can go in and add it before it is used by another equation.

I'm getting ready to call tech support on this issue but thought that I would see if anyone else has run into this for this latest release.

Thanks,
John Lynn
