Water Mark on Drawings

Water Mark on Drawings

Water Mark on Drawings

(OP)
Hi,
I read about creating water mark on the drawings and successfully created a water mark. For this I edited the sheet format and placed an annotation text. I notice that the light colored water mark is actually opaque & blocking (overlapping)the visibility of views/dims in their location.

How do I make these water mark translucent.

Thanks.

Thanks a lot. That's perfect.

You can also use an OLE object for your watermark and set its order to back.  This ability was added in SolidWorks 2009, I believe.  It won't link to any SolidWorks object or custom properties, however.
